SYDNEY AIRPORT EASES CORONAVIRUS QUARANTINE DEMANDS

NSW Health said abroad travels will be topped at 450 travelers per day, with a limit of 50 travelers permitted per approaching flight from Sydney Airport.

 

DFAT's Smartraveller direction has cautioned of "pressure" on Sydney Airport’s isolated offices.

"If you're scheduled to fly from Sydney Airport in the coming days and weeks, confirm your itinerary and onward travel plans with your airline," mentioned.

NSW Health pointed out that “it was critical that hotel quarantining was not stretched to breaking point".

Police and Emergency Services Minister David Elliott said: "The Commonwealth Government has heard the NSW message that we need to ensure the system is sustainable".

NSW Health said that now the Victorian and Queensland governments have started charging for lodging isolate, a few voyagers were deciding to make a beeline for NSW rather for their isolate.
