Turkey dropped a tender for the development of an Antalya Airport close to the southern traveler city of Antalya, Diken news site provided details regarding Monday.
Turkey was looking for an initial installment of 40 million euros for firms to participate in the tender this month, which would increase the capacity of the air terminal's domestic and international terminals, Diken said. It didn't give motivation for the decision.
Guests to Antalya helped drive development in Turkey's travel industry a year ago. Sightseers entering the nation expanded by a yearly 14 percent to 42.9 million in the initial 11 months.
