The EU Council has authoritatively agreed to lift travel limitations on 15 nations

The EU Council has authoritatively agreed to lift travel limitations on 15 nations when outer borders reopen from July 1.

WHICH COUNTRIES COULDN'T GET APPROVEMENT?

The list caused disagreement after sources uncovered that the United States - the most noticeably awful influenced nation worldwide by COVID-19 with more than 2.6 million cases, isn't on the list of stated countries. As well as Russia and Brazil are also excluded from the list because of the current situation related to COVID-19.

Different from the USA, China is on the rundown just if EU residents are permitted to go there also.

It is noticeable from the list that the EU Council took into consideration, the last 14 days with COVID-19 in particular countries; therefore, while the draft list was containing 54 countries only 15 countries got acceptance.

WHAT ABOUT UK?

According to the information from the EU, Commission UK will be also treated the same until the end of Brexit transition period (31.12.2020).
